A  night for the records books!

A night where we paid tribute to, and heard from people who were instrumental in founding this association, as well as those who have made significant contributions as our sport has grown throughout 5 decades. The strength of football in this region is a credit to all of those who have made contributions both large and small during these 50 years.

As part of the celebration we also pay homage to those who have made outstanding contributions to the game in this region by announcing our inaugural inductees into the AWFA Hall of Fame. It has been a long time coming, and the quality of nominees was extremely high. There were 24 worthy inductees recognized on this night. Their contributions span across a broad range of endeavours, each one contributing significantly in their own right.

To all the people and clubs who have contributed to the evening and to this association over the past 50 years, thank you.
